Why I Left the Builder Side to Fight for Subbies
An unscripted one. Why I'm weirdly wired to care about subbies getting paid, why I couldn't stay on the builder side, and why I think AI is about to re-level the subbie versus builder game whether or not anyone likes it. I'm so that I am weirdly wired the way that I am. When I think about it, like fact I am this passionate about solving disputes and helping subbies just safer and get paid. A weird niche for me to fall into, but I think I fell into it because it just made sense that the world needs it. I am passionately driven towards solving big problems. I also just so happen to have the experience over the last four or five years, it up from both sides of the builder side of the table and subbie side then be able to fucking put it all together.
Excuse my language you guys with these new tools with my services in whatever method that happens to be. There is a solution for you waiting for you I am sick of seeing these weighing scales be like that for the subbie for the builder just constantly a screw down game. Could have stayed on the builder side and lived a very comfortable and happy life, would it be fulfilling?
Fuck no, because I'd be sitting there just simply screwing down the subbie because a it's very easy to do when you have that much leverage they have very little commercial firepower or resources or capital or lawyers to fight it back. Easy to just stomp on them, man. It easy? Can you make a lot of money? Yes. Is it fulfilling? Fuck no. I think we are in need and we are starting to see a shift coming in terms of subcontractor management And yeah, it's going to be a very different era coming ahead, especially with AI.
I apologize. I'm just rambling now. Is going to be helping subbies re-level this. And I don't say that because I have an AI tool that helps you. I say that because it just makes sense. AI can do it, do things that a commercial manager, lawyer, whatever it can be, CA, can do all the shit, at least 90 % of what they can do except for the judgment, at least the admin, which will help you a fraction of the cost and a tenth of the time it would take.
