Why I Built Free Software for Subbies Instead of Just Consulting
I never planned to build the Subcontract Risk Scanner or Adjudicate Pro. The plan was helping subbies one dispute at a time. Then I saw how normal screwing subbies down is in this industry, and that one-at-a-time is chips at the rock. Something had to serve every subbie at once, Australia wide, and shift the norm. This is why the tools are free, and an open invitation to anyone who wants to join the mission.

You see, I never actually intended to build the subcontract risk scanner and Adjudicate Pro, these software tools for subbies from the start. Thought it was just going to be me, potentially for a long time, just straight helping subbies with live disputes contract reviews. But I very quickly realised that this industry is so screwed that if someone doesn't step in and build something that serve all the subbies at once Australia-wide, will then in turn shift the industry norm and standard up to a better position for them that protects them and doesn't screw them down as much someone doesn't come in and do all that leverage lifting work then nothing's ever going to change yes I could keep helping subbies one at a time and small chips at the rock I know some other operators like myself who do that sort of work sadly the reality
is after seeing how screwed this industry is with the of just screwing down subbies and how it just happens in broad daylight realized something big has to happen I'm gonna at least give it a crack and make it work and don't get me wrong it's still very early days there is so much further and longer of this mission to go that's why I took the crack man had to step up and I'm no superhero but anyone wants to join me on this mission I more than welcome you just making a dent in it at the moment but as time goes on and the efforts compound it will be a very different looking industry for subcontractor management disputes and the like in relation to that Australia so particularly commercial is where I'm focusing at the moment but I'll expand into residential and industrial and all that
stuff. Industrial I do touch on already but civil. I'll expand into other areas in due course but that's my current main focus. If that's of value to you thank you for supporting me.
