In September, my book Screwed Down hit number one in Contract Law on Amazon Australia. Then it slipped. And this weekend, it went back to number one.
I didn't write it for lawyers. I wrote it for subcontractors. The ones handed a two hundred page contract on a Friday, to sign by Monday.
Because here is the problem. Subcontracts are drafted to push risk and cash down the chain. And the law written to protect you only works if you know it exists.
